Still think its bulging. Look at the reflection of the floor near the bottom of the aluminium panels. The curving there (and elsewhere) is typical for reflections on an object with normals bent over a large angle without enough edge-divisions.
    Still, I might be wrong.

I see it too Christian. Only thing is that I like it. If you look at an elevator like that sometimes the metal seams to bow slightly or something and this is how it looks.

      Excellent image. Nice touches everywhere.

        Thanks again

Metal is dark grey diffuse, mid gray reflect, refl gl .89, subd 20, Phong.

Pretty simple, I made very complicated mats testi wasn'thappy with, ward etc, this one was apparently the best. But one good metal in a scene doesn't seem to be that good in another.

Wow that's a great scene, compliments!

I like the ambient and shaders, especially lights on metals.

I'm working on a scene that has a very similar stone on the walls and floor. Would you mind pointing me to where you found your maps? Or better yet could you send it over to me if possible?

            Thanks,

I'll take the art gallery route. Nice image, although I find the repeating V-shaped reflection a bit disturbing.
Good luck finding a new job!

                        Chris,
I think the main problem visually is that the walls and floors don't seem to have any joints and are too perfectly shiny. Perhaps show some joint lines, as this will add some sense of scale. Also I would suggest that you take your tile map and dump it into one of the map channels in your Reflection> Falloff slot just to break up the uniformity of the reflections a bit.

And althought that SS looks close, it is way too reflective and perfectly smooth as well.

Otherwise, nice work and hope you find work soon.
