I would turn off all the lights coming from light fixtures.... only natural light. The sofa makes the room looks smaller because is off the wall looks a weird location for that sectional. Floating in the middle of the room.

How do I get this interior look more realistic?

Haha yeah. But that's how they want it.
anyway, the question is how to get it to look more real, not about styling or framing or so.
Let's say the interior designer had poor taste but I still want a perfectly photo realistic image of this. That's what I want to achieve .

Not that I am the authority and after many many years I am still learning, using an overcast HDRI usually helps a lot. I turn all lights off, except for the overcast HDRI, and turn on artificial lights if I have too.Bobby Parker
