  • Titan x vs 780ti

I changed my graphic card (780ti) for a Titan x.
I rendered the same model with just GPU. I get the exact rendering times. What am I doing wrong?

I also noticed that it’s using just 3gb during rendering with gpu-z. Is there a way to change this?
    thanks.

      Hello, Jerome,
Is your Titan X render time the same as with 780 Ti solely when testing a specific scene or consistent across multiple projects?
Could you please open one of your heavier scenes, set up the render engine to GPU, open the VFB and click the progress log square button at its bottom-right corner? Next, please start the render process, wait for it to finish and then share the complete log with us either directly in this forum thread, in a PM to me or email it at support@chaosgroup.com

      Kind regards,
      Peter

        Hello Peter,

Thanks for your reply! I’m focusing on the titan for now. I rendered a 100 mb file with CPU and CPU + GPU on low quality.
CPU 26 min, CPU + GPU 55 min. I’ll send the log file and am really curious how this can happen. Hope we find a solution.
        Best regards
        Jerome

Thank you for sharing the progress log with me. There was, however, nothing out of order.
Could you please follow up on my PM reply in order to assist you further?

          Regards,
          Peter
