great work dude! how did you light the underside of the umbrellas? was it tricky lighting or materials?

hi percy, i did nothing diferent on that, i have a direct and a vrayligyht dome into the scene, but, maybe the umbrelas kept lighted because of the fog i've used on the material, indeed i liked the effect

very well done my friend =)
i like it very much. nice mood, good workout for the textures,
cool lighting (i love the shadows from the plants on the top balcony).
maybe the left side of the house is a bit dark.
try to lighten up the sky aswell.
        keep up the good work!

        greetings
        ale

It is looking good - how long did it take you to produce this scene?

hey jujube, indeed it tooks too long, because i was working in another ones too... but the good thing is that for the first time i got a render in a final image using DR, as everybody knows i've been always in troubles on it, the image took only one hours to be rendered

There seems to be a slight issue with the alpha of your building against the sky. (I presume this is a photoshop comp). Try either removing the black matte or defringing 1 pixel.

Very nice images. How did you do the sea grass roof on the right of the middle image?

Only thing wrong I could see, is the mapping on the tops of your stone walls.

Great lighting, and a big improvement on the image at the top of the post.

                          Very good already!
Being a bit picky, lacking a feel of atmosphere makes images a bit "hard", in my opionion.
