External Graphic Card Enclosure

Hi

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU rendering and was thinking of an external enclosure to slot cards into, does anyone have experience of this, pitfalls, technical requirements or usability with VRay issues?

I'm using 3ds max 2016 with Vray next on Win7. Currently I have a GTX 780 and a Titan X but only rendering with the Titan because I need the 11gigs of memory.

As long as the OS sees the GPUs, V-Ray GPU will work just fine.
Meaning, the problems would come (if any) from OS/drivers.

V-Ray does not differentiate eGPU from GPU. As long as it runs on the same OS, you don’t need extra license.
