hay I would realy like your coments on this. It´s part of an animation. allso if there is any sugestion on how to optimise it gets verry slow to use arealights, glossy materials, motionblure and and dof. Allso, it´s rendered in hdtv format

well you might be able to futz with the qmc samples. I would only do it after already precalculating your lighting though. If the motion is fast enough you can get away with murder in animation. Also consider doing your moblur and zdepth effects in post.

      that floor looks great!
Combustion has to be one of our best purchases - sure it takes a little while to sort out your depth of field effect sometimes but it more than makes up for trying to render with it. Definately worth a look to speed things up for yourself.

thanks. I have been considering post and even to by final dof but in my experiense, to mix post dof and mb dont look so nice. one of the effects may look OK but a nother upon that gets ugly. I guess it will be the same in combustion but I will try it. I have set the lights to be calculated with the iradianspass and that dramaticly decreases the rendertime (it´s now aboute 1 houer at 1280 x 720 pixels)only thing, I´m worrying for my details.

What kind of AA are you using for the animation?

          Best regards,
