  • Advice for House image

    Hi guys,

I'm just a part time inhouse 3D artist so go easy!. I don't think I've posted on here for 10 years...but I've been having problems with getting this job to look good and we are up to about version 30 of the design alone. My boss is starting to look into options for the 3D presentation - which I admit is fairly basic because I tend to just copy the setup from job to job to save time (many of them older than 10 years old). We have time to try new things out apparently, so thought it may be worth looking for some suggestions. The next thing I'm going to try is a low sun option, but without the physically correct orange/red you may get from a vray camera+sun. Don't be afraid to be blunt - this is a very basic 3D setup and it needs work. I've been plodding along happily enough for 10 years doing exactly the same thing! . I've thought about simply dropping this into a different scene. any tips welcome. again though, this isn't my primary job.

a new version with car/girl removed, camera adjusted and an ocean reflection added as well as a completely different lighting solution and more adjustment in photoshop. background is too blurry though. the whole project has been going in similar circles now for weeks in terms of design and the 3D.

The girl in the scene really added scale, so that might be worth putting back. I would also lower the camera some, to more of an eye-level shot.
