This is some motion graphics stuff I've done for live gigs, thrown together to some music. The Windows Media version is of higher quality, due to the fast edits I couldn't get much out of quicktime compression. Some of it is Vray the rest Scanline/Finalrender.

How did you do the smoke effects? (title, guy)
And how did you do the sea sequence?

The smoke text is fairly standard Pflow/wind from a text object emitter, the smoke from the silhouette uses an rgb colour map exported from AE mapped onto a plane.
