I loved the name when I first signed the job. I like the structure, too. I am not sure this is the best view, but it's what they chose. I'll play with the view when I get a chance.

A bit different to the usual architecture you deal with isn't it!

Love the image composition/lighting/materials. Do you still use Autograss for your grass?

Yes, it is different architecture and I like it. I have Autograss, and now AutoHedge (did you get the email), but I don't use Autograss. Whenever I try, it slows my scene down to a crawl; I use Forest Pack Pro.

So what grass plants are you using to scatter? They look very good.

I use Forest Pack Pro's grass and PS, which is a trick I learned here.

Yeah this looks good....but there seems to me to be a odd blur at different points. Is is denoised making the windows blurry?
Just it's it blurred at the front tree level and the front wall protrusion seems blurred but the grass is not.

Ahhh ok, so we aren't actually looking at grass models then! The grass is post.

Yeah, I didn't blur the grass in post-production, which I should have. I am not sure about the glass, I'll look into it. I got the model from the client, which was a nightmare, It was a Cheif Architect model and there were over 1000 materials; all the glass had it's own glass, on each pane. Each element had the 1000+ materials, so I had to see what material ID it was using.

LOL that sounds like a nightmare. I've looked at Chief Architect but never took it far enough to use it - and I'm glad I didn't bother, now you tell me that

I have a script that puts each material in a new layer, but after I ran it I got over 1000 layers. I ended up joining everything, creating one material with 1000 ID's and started breaking things down by ID.

I like this a lot. So different from your other projects and somehow it looks more real I like the framing with the foliage too!

Thank you. Their reply was a little... hmmm... unimpressed. It was something like, "OK for the first round. We'll get back to you with comments".

To be nitpicky.. there`s a strange worm crawling up the front of the left rock wall, might be a house number inside displaced geometry at a guess ? Also the rock walls edges look a little sharp for my taste, they`d hurt. Grass and trees look real nice.
