Yes, those house numbers fell inside the displacement. I did add a noise modifier on the rocks. I tried to chamfer the edges, but the geometry is a nightmare. I rebuilt a few walls, chamfered and MAX crashed, so I need to do it again.

Why don't you use edge Tex? And / or a combination with vray dirt and even an imperfection map to subtly roughen it up.
you could setup a standard base material or map with these inside the bump so that you can easily apply it to New objects.

Nice image, Bobby! Like mentioned above, something is making the glass look almost frosted. Is this rendered on GPU and then denoised? I am extra curious because I’ve seen similar results on my end.

What's the gloss value for reflection you are using?

1.0 if I recall. The result looked as expected until denoised.

Ah right. Generally I think it's better to put something like 0.995 to get better reflections. But denoiser isn't very good with reflections.

Are you using the materials they come with Or are you replacing them?

Seems like your columns aren't really supporting that roof, also the corners on those stone walls are extremely sharp, might need some displacement or chamfer. The car is also quite gamma 1.0.
                        A.

I added noise to the stone, so I think it's pulling the stone down. The noise was to soften the corners. I usually chamfer corners, however, this is their model and it's so poorly built, I'll have to model all the stone over to chamfer the corners. I have used the wave transformer in PS for corners, but it doesn't work at all on this latest PS CC.

To "chamfer" the corners you can add a VrayEdgeTex to the bump slot or add the material to a VrayBmpMaterial and add the VrayEdgeTex there. Also with the new update 2 you can add variable width to the chamfer with a map that multiplies, haven't tried the update myself yet but I think you can create quite realistic corners with this feature without modelling.

Edit: I just had to try it and installed the update. It's bloody brilliant

I will give it a try for the next and final revision.

Oooo....a map for edge tex? I was holding odd updating but that does sound very cool indeed.

Much nicer image anyway. I'd remodel the offending bits, as they are simple enough
I hate sketchup and these other progs that destroy simple geometry
I've quoted based on their availability in the past, only to be shocked by the quality and a time-waster essentially.
                                Not doing it again.
