I guess I have to find out from Corona how to get rid of the flickering.

I'll give that a try. Most, if not all, of the materials, have the same name.Bobby Parker

No, the majority of the materials are renamed. I thought it was going to be seamless, back and forth, between Carona and V-Ray. Wasn't that a V-Ray NEXT sales point?Bobby Parker

Converting from Carona to V-Ray screws up the gamma. To get the wood cabinets back I have to do an inverse gamma.

I rendered with GPU and I am getting noisy images. I set each still to 5 minutes like I did with Corona and even at a lower resolution, they are not usable.Bobby Parker

Hey Bobby, have you tried the LC animation settings shown in this Corona quick tip video? Might help your flickering if rendering it out in Corona.
EDIT: link to additional quicktip video and info on Corona UHD cache settings here:

To save a few seconds per frame might not be worth the extra work unless it solves flickering.Bobby Parker

FYI, Timewarp has to be set to "Pixel Motion" (it is the default) in order to interpolate the inbetween frames. Additionally you can add some motion blur in timewarp to soften some of the movement. In my experience you have to set the motion blur to Manual rather than automatic though.Bobby Parker

You need to loop the footage in the "interpret Footage" settings. If you're halving the speed, loop it twice; if your cutting the speed by a third, loop it three times, etc.www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

I'll have to play around because the time-warped came out choppy. I did the "interpret Footage", so nothing was cut off, but again, choppy .Bobby Parker
