  • NVLink 2-slot for 2080 Ti

Hi All - I see the NVLink for the RTX 8000 is sold out and has been for a while. The RTX 6000 NVLink bridge is back in stock finally. The specs seem the same so it's a little surprising they have separate models and one is in stock, etc.

Long story short, is the RTX 6000 a suitable NVLink bridge for the 2080 Ti if you want to go with 2-slot? Is it any less desireable than the RTX 8000 bridge?

    Thanks!
    Daniel

I just ordered a PNY 2-slot nvlink from an online retailer that says it's for the 'RTX 6000 / 8000.' nVidia was out of stock again. We'll see how (or if) it works.

The 2080 should be 50GB and 2080Ti should be 100GB
