Another small one shot project I did in my free time last few days mainly to stress testing VRay Next IPR . I kept it running almost from start to finish during modeling /shading /lighting .
it worked pretty well.I had only one crash and it was my fault as I clicked way too many things at the same time xD .
There is of course room for improvements like Override material exclude /real zoom and pick materials in vfb and other small workflow things that could be better ...will make a list and post it in the forum later
The project is based on a real project by Annabell Kutucu and photographed by Claus Brechenmacher so I can't take credit for that .

Nice work. I am seeing some noise on the ceiling, but other than that, nice!

      Thanks Bobby!
I've updated the image , it should be a bit cleaner now .
In the post I've used 3 light select elements to mask the light (Dome+sun+sofbox) as needed so the noise added quickly ..I should have denoised them first )

I'm not that happy with the materials, but in general it was good exercise to test things

Thanks! The carpet is supposed to be a straw rug, but I should have worked on it more . it is displacement now , it could look better If i went with full geo instead I guess ..Sofa material is another thing that I'm not happy with too .
I will try to continue working on this project in my free time and complete the other shots.

What was the memory footprint on that?

it is not that heavy scene actually and as I've rendered it on Next CPU I haven't watched the memory but you made me interested , so I did quick test and it showed in the task manager memory rising from 7.6 GB for max only to ~14 GB when I hit render and render start .(Bucket rendering)
I'm using VRay displacement here in 3D mode with Static Geometry enabled so that increase the needed memory but speed up the rendering .

right, nice so with a little effort this could be ported to GPU NEXT and render quite well then!
