                      Nice. For your lights in the back though, it looks like you were using pure white, but might look better if you added a little color & warmth to them.

                          Excellent. Nice warm and cozy feeling. For your sun shadows did you use shadow map or area light?

                            very nice.

                            but the ceiling is far too bright..

                              hey all,

                              thanks for all your comments...really appreciate them

                              @stephan_MA:
                              yeah I was kinda struggling with that as I was working on it....meaning I was wondering how bright it should be, knowing that there are two large windows at either side of it (one you see and one above the cam) as well as one behid the camera, that is 2 stories tall. I think you might be right, it could be darker, though.

                              @PixelJockey:
                              no I used area shadows on the direct light that is the sun. I used area shadows set to sphere, and about 3 ft in diameter.

                              @timmatron:
                              I see what you mean about lighting color....and at first I used a slightly yellow coloring, but it was bleeding too much color everywhere, even with just a little yellow....so I decided to make those local lights white.

                              @calvino56:
                              Actually I have a version with people in it....I usually jut give that to the clients...I don't like people usually in renderings.....the seem to be distracting or look quite right.

                              thanks again for all your comments,
                              paul.
