looks good, i think you need a little more light in your scene, the direct light is extremely bright but the indirect light is really dark.
Also the scale of the cabinet on the left is really small.
      Render time is much better

Don´t know man, but i still feel some scale issues in that image, don´t know if its the angle of the camera, but looks a bit off.

Light looks better but its way too dark imho...good luck and keep it up.

        Best regards

The lighting looks good to me. It looks like you are getting a good grasp of 1.46. You might want to put another lightsource behind the camera since the dark walls really soak up the light.

I have some comments about the composition. I really like the room model, the fireplace, the mirror, the curtains, the chandelier and the lamp. The little chest of drawers, the TV, the floor pattern, and the chair don't really fit. The camera angle could be better. I'd like to see the entire fireplace because it is the room's best feature, and have the walls be vertical. With such a rich color on the walls, it could have a very little bit of gloss and texture (tiny bit).

I like it lots Tom, Love the cast iron firepalce, I definately think there is something up witht eh scale, chair looks real big compared to the TV. I would add either a picture rail or coving to the room Also try a differnt camera shot (as if seen from persons height) and not the fly on the wall shot that this image kinda looks like.

Little be of PS work and I think its goona be v nice.
            all the best,
            Tom

              Thanks all for the replies,
A lot of good points I'll try and implement, the small cabinet is actually that small but the TV and chair might be a bit off scale wise I'll go and check. I have been upping the light in the room by increasing the dark multiplier and thought I had got a reasonable level, I don't want to over do it as it is quite a dark room in reality due to the colour of the walls.
Time to go tweak some more

              Thanks again,
              TD
