Hey guys, here is an artwork that I did for a while and I wanted to share it here. Let me know what you think
There is also a short animation and breakdown which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyMWFDBhw5U
Thanks guys for your feedback How many hours is hard to measure, I did it over the span of a couple of weeks always working a little bit on it when I was in the mood to do so. But I think most of the time was put on modeling, arrangement and finding the overall concept. Texturing, shading and lighting was pretty straightforward, I think that happened within 2 or 3 days of work...
Good job ! great amount of details in this one. with a lovely mood.
I might try to tune down the orange lighting from the door a bit tho. it is a personal preferences of course .
thanks for sharing the lighting breakdown too.

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : )) Sketchbook-1 /Sketchbook-2 / Behance / Facebook
M.Max: I understand it's personal preference. Basically my aim in this picture was to push the whole warm/cold contrast idea as far as possible. So for me personally this is how far I think I could push the saturation but I understand some might think it is a bit too far.
Jiri.Matys: Yes, I did use the environment fog but then put everything it contained in an atmosphere render element and adjusted it furtheron in post. In my breakdown if you go slowly through it you can see the different steps and the rendering without fog as well.
