I want to share some renders from a work of a few months ago. I've used Cinema4d, Vray, Marvelous Designer, some small tuning in PS.
Some statistics, about 50 million polygons plus render instances whenever possible, physical sun/sky, about 300 area lights, some soft boxes when needed, rendered in 4K in about 1-2 hour.
Mostly modeled by me, I've used a few laser scans for furniture and moulding.
Texture and shaders have been created by me, many for this specific project, I'll sell many of these shaders in a bundle as soon as Vray 5 for Cinema4D will be released, I'll also try to build them for Vray for Max.
Hope you'll enjoy and I'm always looking for suggestions for improving my work!
    This is the living area:

These really lack detail don't they?

Wow! That looks like an amazing amount of detail. Thanks for sharing!

                Best regards,

Stunning modeling and texture details, impressive indeed.
It bothers me a bit the obvious IRMap.
Would you be so kind as to render one version with BF as primary GI engine, and share it? :P

No cherubs, clients from India won’t appreciate

Believe it or not this design is quite clean compared to my typical work, other projects are far more complex/detailed

                          Hi Lele,
everything it’s already done in BF/LC
Probably you get the impression that is IM because I had a tight deadline for this job (3weeks/1person) so to save time I ended up using a rather high AA threshold coupled with heavy denoising in a few views, this may lead to splotch-like artifacts in some circumstances. I’ve also used a few softbox that can flatten out some details depending on the incidence of the light, maybe this also gives you the impression of IM.

                            Yes!
That's exactly what i was seeing, some splotches around the fine details and corners, and some evenness in flat areas!
To be fair, minute stuff visible at higher zooms.
To be fairer, it's the fault of the images for drawing the viewer in as they try and see more of the awesome detail.
Keep it up, this stuff is seriously impressive!
