I love this so much! Can I bother you for a bit of info? I mean I love how all your walls/objects have gradients showing exactly where the light comes from. In my current workflow I just don't get that. I always feel my renders are kinda flat, even when they have contrast.

My guess is that he used mostly the HDRI for lighting? Then adjusted the camera to get the right exposure. Then added some accent lighting, such as the LEDs.

Either way, the shots do look stunning. Good job.

Very nice renders! I'd love to know how you get that real 'look & feel' with almost a grain to the images. I've been practicing a lot myself lately trying to acheive the photoreal look with interiors but knowledge is key! I know it all comes together, depth of field and post process etc.

Its like the edges of objects have a detailed blur to them, if that makes any sense?! High pass and custom filters in photoshop...LUT?

Hi all, thank you a lot, sorry for late reply.
Not sure what you mean by "edges of objects have a detailed blur to them" I never use high pass or other custom filters for post process of a final image.
As you said, everything should be fine to make it real. Good lighting, shaders, beleavable colors and post . Really not sure what exactly make this feel, probably everything together.

Apologies, it's my bad description! It must be the depth of field. Do you add it to all views or just the close ups?

I think all of them have it in some strenght. Only fish eye views dont have it cause vray doesnt support DOF with this type of camera.
