              thanks for your comments
Rendertimes was bout 5 min 640 x 480 p. on a 3 ghz p4. But the materials and lights are realy simple. Uncheck the time independent box in the qmc rollout to get the animated noice; otherwise it looks like you have a dirty lens

the model is polly-objects linked together, with hiIK.

yeah. That was my main problem; To get the file size down and still keep the noice. It looks OK though.

                    Hey thats pretty cool.

Pity, it would have been a perfect loop if it werent for that light difference at the end.

I have used After Effect temporal denoiser with some tweaks.
I think the same denoising effect (frame per frame) can be done by scripting it under Photoshop, but I did try it.

But again : I think that the video is much more realistic with the noise than without.

yes. I think I made 3 lights with the proper distans between, but obviously it wasn´t enough.

ya but Im curious if it can't be used in other situations. Im working on an animation that has splotches with irradiance map. Ive tried to get comparable rendertimes with quasi-monte carlo but obviously the grain is bad. Funny I never really considered running a denoise filter to see how ti looks...
