    wow....
cars are RPC? they not seem to be from the image. the reflections in the car body and glasses are unbeliveable.

    Very impresive work. congrats

have you set up any uplighting to this scene? you seem to have been able to get alot of lighting to the undersides of the soffit and ceiling.

        excellent!

love the grass bank + road materials.

perhaps the people/cars lack some contrast or saturation in some places.

Very nice as always. Out of interest, how do you model your landscapes (grass banks, roads, etc) - with splines and surface tools, or nurbs? They always look excellent.

Theres only one direct light and the rest of the settings are very straight forward, no tricks.

The grass is a got3d free grass texture mixed with a texture I got from a field of a video game, and a displacement map.

Cars are low poly, except the mini copper, that one I got from turbosquid.

Thanks for all the comments, I'd lile to know you opinion on the design of the buildings, these were done for a contest to develop this projects.

Here is the texture I mixed with the grass.

                  armilla,

I ususally model the grass as a flat surface in autocad so I can control the shape of the grass area very fast, then I subdivide the faces I want to deform and finally use an edit mesh point with a soft selection the rest is just felling.

I like it but somehow I think applying autolevels in photoshop could give your renderings more life and contrast.
I think you use exponential color mapping and your images look washout.
I have applyed autolevels in Photoshop to one of your images and it looks more alive or maybe its just my monitor.
                        Hope you like it.

Hi Bernardo, i like a lot the lightning solution, i just dont feel too convinced with the pure white colour, and also the exponential colour mapping doesnt feel quite right, again some tiling, but im just beeing picky here.

On some other hand, i wanna ask you some personal favor, can u share with me some of those pic's of sunny Monterrey, i was using some i took i while back from Las Misiones, but my HD died recently, along with all my photos.... I have some cool text cds i will share with you next time we meet bud.

                              hi bpozas,

what map do you use to displace? a black and white noise or the bitmap of the grass?

I'm sorry but I can't help watching your grass...it's really great
