    big version:
    http://www.simonreeves.co.uk/3d/db5/db5_1200.jpg

I haven't done a car that wasn't for a job for a while now, I started this model last summer and had to get around to finishing it as it easily one of my favourite classics.
I used some of my own photos for the wall textures along with a couple from mayang.com, and the HDR is from sachform.de..

    cheers

Nice to see a classic car rather than protoype cars.
            Really well done
I've always wanted to model a car, but never had the time...

yeah Id like to also know what kind of carpaint shader was used.
Also, and it has been said on cgtalk, the aa is very visible on the door.
                        gj tho.

                          Damn, that cars sexy

Beautiful render. Nothing to critique... perfect model, pefect lighting, and I love the style of it.

                          How about an animation?

                            cheers

ya it is vray, the car paint is just usual fresnel falloff, although I was using a shadow/light falloff for the diffuse, I think it was verrry subtle and not doing much at all in the end

and I used a shellac material to get a proper specular on it instead of using the useless spec in the vray material...is it just me or is it pointless? would be 100x better with just standard manual controls imo

simon, I wouldnt say its totally useless, but yeah I like more control so I use highlite only or other specs with shellac
