  • impossible to upload a crisp and nice render...2.0 mb is just too small

    Hi guys

Well i'm trying to upload a render but there are a few problems.

First i don't have page in internet and i can't link the image to a host

Second i tried to make the resolution smaller to fit into 2.0 mb with Photoshop, but i Loose all the Quality the render looks so blurred.( Image size... With Photoshop)

I don't want to show My work like the other day just a Bad photograph from My old cel to the render

I want to show My work but with all the Quality.

I dont simply know how to upload the renders but as they are when they came out of the VFB.

I would appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction on how can i upload a crisp render... Is really difficult with just 2.0 mb is almost nothing Even if i don't have a link to a host.

I don't have a count in behance or artstation because i work more in a prívate way, just for some clients and that is all.

    Thanks in advance

Can you show a sample image? I always felt that the current size is more than enough to post images here on the forum, maybe you are using a wrong resampling method or too much compression. If you need to post uncompressed full size images (4K or more) then I’m afraid there’s no forum on the web that allows that because hosting space is not unlimited.

There is I believe a method whereby full resolution images can be viewed here....it's some sort of link to the high resolution image that is displayed when you click the low res version.
There are loads of posts where this occurs but I have never figured out how it's done.
Many people have asked and nobody to my knowledge has explained the process.....I wish someone would

If you chose save as JPG in Photoshop, you will be asked what quality you want. Photoshop will drasticly reduce filesize but keep quality at the same time. Look at this huge (yet fairly simple) rendering, it's only 1,7mb, no visible artifacts from compression.

Surely your renderings will withstand a little compression so you can show them in reasonable quality.

If you reduce image size in PS, you have a few options under "resample". But "automatic" should do a very good job by default.

Yes that is what i'm going to do sirio 76, upload a render that don't show too much just an example and if it looks right i'm going to upload one of the Best shots.

Im going to do it right now!!!

The image size didnt help me aebi_vincent Even with automátic or preserve details 2.0 didnt work i Lost all the Quality

There is no point in post super high resolution images. Usually a 2K render is enough to judge the quality of the image and if you need to show some details at native resolution renders then just post a full res crop.
