  • Artic Resort (Vantage Animation)

First go around at using Chaos Vantage for an animation.

    https://vimeo.com/757300741

Used after effects for the fire and snow effects. Worked and rendered exclusively with live link and 3ds max animation/ camera controls.

Each shot is about 4 sec in duration and was rendered at 2k x 2k at 25fps. Took about 45-60 min render time for each.

    I used 1x 3080 ti and 1x 3090 ti to render.

To get rid of any excessive flickering I used this technique in adobe premiere:

Side note, I've found the new Dynamic textures setting to be extremely buggy and would introduce issues. I disabled it for each shot.

Side, side note would love to see the direction of Vantage going forward, if there is a closed beta I would love to join .

Can you please report your issues with the dynamic textures on our "Vantage issues" sub-forum ?
      https://forums.chaos.com/forum/chaos...vantage-issues

We are working on some fixes for the dynamic textures.
If you could give us a scene that shows the bug, we can test it and make sure our changes fix it.
