There are some noise issues that I am dealing with in shadows, but the client didn't seem to care.

I request CAD files, even if they offer me a 3D model. This client is a realtor and kept asking his architect for CAD plans. The architect kept sending a SketchUp model, as if he didn't know what we were talking about.. The architect only had a SketchUp model, and a poorly built one at that. I think I spent twice the time fixing things then I would have if I had modeled from scratch. If you notice, the front door is off center. My client didn't question it, so maybe it was actually off center; I think it is a modeling mistake (they are rebuilding an old house). This was one of those where every other face was flipped, and half of it had double faces, as if there were a lot of copies/pasting going on.

I really wish I had more time to tweak things, but again, I spent most of my time fixing things. I think the noise is from the bad geometry, but I am worn out by trying to fix the model.

This one glows quite a bit, I don't remember you doing that too often. I like the night setting the most, I love night renderings. Overall, these are stunning renderings. As always, I admire your sense of contrast, color grading and situating your objects in nature. Plants, grass and trees look fabulous.

Say no more, I face this issue regularly. It's a lot of work, depending on how horribly the model was created.
Do you charge extra for fixing "client-models"?

Thank you! it is awash, most of the time. Starting from scratch or fixing the model takes about the same amount of time. I sure to discount, like they ask.

We went through the process and, of course, my clients decides it is a good time to share it with his people. Nope, two gray scales and two color revisions. Not get it done and then share. His people said the daytime look looks like it is an abandoned home and the night looks like it is haunted. I simply told him I would be happy to quote extra revision - I haven't heard yet.
