  • Sometimes things just come together

Can't belive this came out as good as it did (not that its great) - the client provided the background image - way too dark and slightly blurry. No design was ready to speak of and I had from one day to the next to put it together - I must admit right out of max the rendering was too dark but a bit of curves and some composite in photoshop and it all came together. As most architectural projects go - not enought budgeted for a rendering but the client wants one anyway - but dispite the small budget and probably because of the short time frame I actually came out with a better than average profit and a pretty darn good rendering.

    Any comments welcome -

nice image, sits in the environment well, must have taken you a while to mask out the trees!

long time lurker first time poster... thanks for your comments - coming from this bunch it is a real complement - The tree masking didn't take all that long - It made for a great opportunity to prune the trees - that is, not mask every branch - otherwise the building would have been too obscured. For the leaf areas I simply used a "noisy" brush and blotted out areas that I wanted to become leaves again.

Like I said... this one just came together.

jacksc02, just when I thought I has those darn splotches beat they show up again. haha

                    Nice job !

Never let the client take the picture for you, but maybe you hadn't the choice...

The wall on the right seems to lean ? The perspective in this part of the image is a bit strange

Maybe the building is flattened by the viewpoint thaht present it in elevation. Again, it's the fault of the picture

nice to see the image surge! you've 'merged' the rendering in very well. sometimes things do indeed come together, and aint it a good feeling.
