this image was inspired by something I saw in dwell magazine. i'll probably attempt more similar layouts in the future. didn't do any crazy settings really. glossy reflections, displacement, vray light, etc...

The perspective of the background doesnt match the perspective of the model

and another thing, you might want to find a different map for the ceiling, that cedfence.jpg has been used to death!

its not cedar fence, lol. its barnwood, a texture that I modified or found somewhere.

looks good to me. Just because it is used to death in forums and people in the know, you don't have to stop using it. I Very seldom get paid by someone from the forum! If it looks real and consistent with the rest of the scene, use it.

small thing though - the cord seems to be very stiff to hover in space like it does. It should fall down much quicker out of the receptacle. Good job.

Good light distribution too.
Tree bark doesnt look right to me tho. stretched at the top or something.
