    great work, love the style.
What are your GI settings? Its always hard to get weatherboards looking right, and i think you have cracked it!

Lighting is 1 standard direct (sun) with a low mult (0.5). Vray skylight mult is high (5.0). I used the "high" GI preset with first bounce and secondary bounces both at 0.5. This combined with the light ground plane gives a soft diffuse (showroom) look that I like.

Siding material is standard with a default b&w gradient in the diffuse slot (8-10%) and in the bump slot (50%). Displacement works well with closeups but I didn't use it here. Neighboring houses were rendered seperatly with vray toon, self illuminated white material, no lighting, no GI. Composited with PS. Alpha channels used for easy selection and masking. Ground plane uses vraymtlwrapper with alpha contribution set to 0 (This helps with compositing). Base material is standard with a fairly dark gray color that appears white under the intense skylight and blends seamlessly into the background. (a white material blows out the scene and you don't get good ground shadows) A matte material also works well for this. Sidewalk and driveway lines are linked from acad and are made renderable in the file link settings. Plain black material. If I had time I would rework this so the joint lines were thinner. (convert to ed spline, make renderable and control thickness in the modify panel I suppose)

And all modeling done in acad, about 6 hours/house.

          Thanks again.
