  • bad shadows?

i'm WIP'n a project and am encountering not the best antialiasing in the shadow G-Buffer channel. i probably have a setting wrong for this one?

and why are the shadows brown? is there any way to specify a different colour?

furry shadows just seem to be at the edge of the building tho, all the other edges seem fine.

              From the V-Ray help index:

V-Ray antialiases with respect to the RGB Color channel. Therefore other channels may appear jagged in areas where V-Ray has placed fewer samples. See the Examples section for a demonstration of this effect.
Basically, since in your RGB channel there isn't much contrast between the shadowed and unshadowed areas, V-Ray uses fewer image samples there. To avoid this, you can turn on the Object and Normal checkboxes for the Adaptive subdivision image sampler and/or adjust its settings.

              Best regards,
              Vlado
