  • lux residental scheme - fast interior + night view WIP

    Hi all,

I wanted to post those two images for some comments and hints from you - especially about the night view (for now, I`ve just stuffed the building with 300 omnis with vray shadows .

It`s not a fully finished production - so it has some grain and modelling is still not finished (on the interior scene - the garden, some interior elements/maps and light fixtures inside are missing).
We`re using this to communicate with the client, as our design progresses.

    Thanks,

The first one is very good. I'm a bit confused by the second one though, what's the desired time of a day you try to make?

very nice renders artykris, I realy like the softness of the first one.
For the second one the lights colour is too "canary yellow", give them more orange, also if you put a dusk/dawn sun light coming from behind to make the building on the left dark might help too look more like a night shot, I can imagine that the client might not want that though.

I wasn`t thinking about any particular time of the night for the second image, it was an hour of improvisation with omnis including rendering just to show the glowing form inside.

Thanks for tips, I will try to add some late sunlight, different background sky.
I always have problems with the colour for the windows at night - will have to study some real photographs more closely...

          Thanks!
