MAX menus are a nightmare because Windows 11 prevents software from making changes. So, if I move a toolbar, it won't stay. I can't delete folders without first deleting all of the context. They are just pain in the butt things.

Surely that is just the usual User Account bollocks isn't it? Can't you change it to allow things to stick?

I heard a lot bad things about window 11, I am thinking to have my new PC install window 10

Do you try it? is it fix the issue?

I'm still on 10, as there's some weird thing with my motherboard that makes Windows not recognise it as compatible for 11.
I won't bother with 11 for a few years I think, or if I have to get a new mb.

just imagine all those data centers which can't upgrade to win 11 and have to dump their hardware eventually. Though probably most of them run vms.

Check this post from the Max forums :

The system variable fix did the trick for me for the toolbars.

Ya... Runway is pretty decent for short pans and dollies. I tested it out with one of my projects always and saw some of the issues with textures and wondering peeps and trees. Looking forward to testing Adobe Firefly's video tool. Glorybpund... you should sign up to the waiting list.
