Nice looks really good, the beds are letting it down. They look really small

nice job. I would say your cameras move a little too fast and you could use some accent lighting, especially in the kitchen.

        Not bad not bad.

The beds do seem a tad small. But otherwise its quite well done

          Great job!
Personally, i didn't mind the bed sizes (single & a double).
I just found the pillows flat...slap some down into them! aaahhhh...

thank you all very much for your positive feedback, its very motivational.

I'll take all your comments on board and try and improve with the next project; but the reason the beds look so small, is because the apartment is tiny!! God help anyone who buys one who is over 5'6"!! I've had to scale them down to make the place look good!!

I've only been using max for 9 months and vray for about 6 weeks, so I'm still on a very steep learning curve, and probably just up from the bottom; so a long way to go. But if I can keep reading quality forums like this hopefully I'll get there a bit quicker.

              Once again thanks

              Kind regards

              Steve

This is one of the better apartment animations that I have seen. Very well executed and I really like your camera paths. Contrary to a previous post, I find the speeds about right. Linger any longer and I think the overall pace would be quite dull. The present speed makes it more...funky.

I think my only crit would be it could be a bit more sparkly (is that a word?). Either a few of the subtle light 'scallaps' on the walls (very subtle mind you) or a bit of sparkle of the polished surfaces (not sure how you would do this though).

Also, some of the spaces appear a bit dark - the kitchen for example. I imagine this is because you have kept the lighting rig relatively simple for speed and rely more on boosting the colour mapping of an environmentally (or similarly) lit scene.

                Overall, very nice.
                Kind Regards,

Very well executed! Using vray only 6 weeks? amazing.

the only odd thing is the placement of the toilet in the last fragment. Imagine that you sit there and someone opens the door...

                    thanks gijs,

in relation to your question regarding the toilet, there is a very strong lock on the door!!
