  • WIP::Condo in Minneapolis::

    Hello,
    This is a proposal…I made this interior rendering to show the view from the apartment and the style
    The project is a condominium in Minneapolis, starting at 1 million and the penthouse 2-2.5 Million
    The model was made in Sketchup, rendered in VIZ+Vray and the furniture are from PureArt and Evermotion.

    C&C are welcome

    nice job. out on the balcony it looks like you've got a toony thing going on.

    How well do you like modelling with sketchup? so you prefer it to max/vis?

      I’m an architect, my renderings are just for talking with the client about the project…sometimes they become a Marketing material.
      I do need to use ADT and SU for modeling because it’s easier than VIZ/MAZ for me and I can use the same information for my construction documents. I found SU super fast for architectural modeling, massing and shadow studies and it’s the perfect tool for schematic design and proposals.

      About this lines…I retouched it in PS (sharpen) when I reduce the image to put it here…these lines became stronger.

          Sorry, probably a-bit Off Topic here, but don't you have problem when importing Sketchup models to viz/max?

          I remember the last time I imported Sketchup models, it became unusable in viz/max because of some missing/flipped surfaces.

          May I know how do you export the model from sketchup, and how do you import the model to viz/max?

          Thanks.
