  • Condo in Minneapolis-Exterior

    Hello guys,
this is the exterior view, modelled in Skecthup and rendered in Viz & Vray. (it is still in WIP). It was a pretty fast job...I started yesterday in the morning and I just finished today at 5:00am because we had a meeting with client today at 9:00am...so now, time to go to the bed...zzzzzzzzzzzz....
    C&C are welcome

The caustics look good but I think they're a little too sharp. Nice job on the DOF on the bushes at the bottom, I think that adds a nice touch to the image. Nice work.

          Very nice render.

I agree with the caustics tho, at that distance they will be quite blurred. If noticable at all.

Jacksc02: I hate this kind of rush presentations….but we get the job…it’s a 40Million dollar project!!!!!!

Da_Elf: the railings are a little reflective or …I change the background maybe if the AA of the other background

About the caustics….yeah, I’ll improve them…I had a lot problems during this rendering…and no time to try to fix them up
If you see next to the planters there are red spots…during the final rendering I got a warning message something about over bright colors…and the plants turned red at 5:00am I just retouched in PS…and the guy looking thru the glass box…he was outside of the building (floating)(MY FAULT) so I rendered this area again.

my renderings weren't in the budget...this proposal was a little competition between 4 firms and we were designing and modeling at the same time...now the project is ours.
The average for Marketings stuff is 1500-2000/unit x 60 units =90K-120K.

plus the 3d model for the shadow studies.

                      cheers
