  • lights leaks

I am getting some lights coming through the bottom right of this wall and floor. Using 4 Vray lights and direct. 1st Irm, 2nd photon. Ray bias is set to 0. Using fairly low settings and the rendering is still taking 30 minutes. Does it matter if it is a dwg? The geometry is correct with connections and snaps. Do i need to increase the # of photons? Any insight please, thanks

Usually when modeling make sure that corners meet corners. So if a wall meets a floor make sure both objects have corners at that point. Sometimes the light leaks through where the wall meets the floor and the floor continues under the wall. The light sneaks in under the wall. Other than that settings aren't really my forte'. Regards Peter.

You might want to make sure Check Sample Visibility is checked under you Irradance map settings.

yes, i have that checked. When I switch to light mapping instead of photon mapping the leaks go away though
