  • Overbright box camera problem

I've been working on a scene for a couple of weeks thas has been rendering fine with low quality settings. But now, when I increase light cache subdivs and increase the IR maps max rate, my scenes gets a bazillion overbright warnings. I've gone through the materials to make sure that all my whites are less than 255. I have a bunch of self-illuminated materials - both standard and VRayLight materials. There are both glossy relfections and refractions in the scene too. I also have an output map in the scenes background environment slot. It's just boosting color - no bitmap. As you can see by the image below, I'm also rendering using VRay's box camera. I think the box camera has something to do with it. If I switch to a standard camera it renders fine. But it's still odd that the low render setting work fine on the box camera, just not the higher settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Settings

This is how it renders with lower quality settings - light cache 250 subd, -4,-3 IR map

This is how it renders with higher quality settings - see link above.

Exponential sort of worked. I gave up on the box camera and used six cameras instead. Seems to be working fine with expo.
