wip - project 'movie' from vray light?

this is my cinema-in-a-hurry, i have a vray light in front of the screen projecting into the auditorium. is there a way to project the 'movie' from the light so the ceiling isn't just white? or another method?

if you increase the output of the movie, place an invisible Vray light in front of it, as sky light portal, this should work.

edit: use standard material with bitmap in self illumination slot with sky light portal in front of it...

Another option is to blur the movie and use projector lights...

or try the vraylightmtl on the screen instead of the vray light itself..

I'd use projector lights with a lower rez version of the video

I´m not sure if I get the problem. Is this a back projection? Othrewise, why dont project the movie as an ordinary projector on to the movie screen. and let the radiens from it light up the theater?
