Great attention to details (everywhere!), it really helps sell it. My only real crit is the blue M3 is distracting (color & brightness), but that's nitpicking. Nice job.

i just need the client to get back to me on the colors of the white trimmings other than the doors and windows which i konw he wants white. but the railings on the balcony i need to know if he needs that to be the same color as the trellis over the front door. the plants are thanks to george for the flowers and the trees to the right. percy for the other trees. and the rest are to 3dcafe and xfrog for the hanging fern. most are poly plants except for the trees which have opacity mapped leaves. i was thinking that a bird bath would be perfect to add but i didnt know where to put it without making the scene too cluttered. and i wanted to put a fancy mailbox next to the trash can.

Whoa! Very nice, Elf. Very nice indeed.

I love the tree shadows falling across the grass, and the view is spot on.

My only crit would be the texture you've used on the kerbstones (sidewalk). Is it just a noise map you've used? I don't think it will stand up to scrutiny at hi-res.

Is that a flock of Wood Pipits flying over? Hmmm, could be...

Glad you're making good use of the flowers and stuff. Wish they looked this good in my scenes

Yeah, very nice, fella, as I'd expect...

the sky looks way to blue to me. In general, the scene looks a bit over saturated maybe?

actually i used bitmaps for the sidewalk. maybe i need to add a bump map as well which i think i dont have on it. i agree i could take down the saturation a bit. yeah the birds are great hehe and the flowers too. the orange ones are my favorite. there are toooonnes of proxies for all plants and i was kinda nervous about this rendering but the box loaded up the scene in no time and rendered it really quick. although it kinda paused each time it hit the trees by percy since his trees use glossy refraction on them. in the pool project i turned off the refraction. Now all thats left is to get the colors correct on the balcony and the white frame work on the left roof apparently was supposed to be a window. It definately wasnt clear on the elevations supplied so hey. simple mistake and a simple boolean will fix that. all in all this was a simple project compaired to the last and thank goodness its not the same client as the pool hehe (which i still havent been paid for. check went in the mail yesterday hehe funny how they expect me to rush to make deadlines but they cant rush to write a check)

Its looking a bit 'computery' for my tastes. I think thats mainly down to the planting. In my opinion, I would do all the planting in post and use real plants to bring the image to life.

                        (just my opinion though )
                        Kind Regards,

nice image. I think the kerb stands out a bit for some reason which would be my only crit relating to the 3D side of things (I dont know why...too high/square?)

really really good job with planting and trees IMHO

would be nice to see you do get some decent architecture from your clients though (I think thats the only thing that lets the image down) because i dont think anyone could make the buildings themselves look any better in 3D at the momen.

                            nice work.
I would change the color of that bmw (i remember seeing it in another post by you) i don't think bmw are making them in this color.
you can get some nice cars from lowpoygon3d , i use them also in my animations.

I think I saw somewhere in the forums where someone posted Vray fur used for grass... That would be perfect here with it coming up through the flagstones.
