just tried what elf suggested, its close but there are reflections of the plants in the glass that are green.
did u use toon then comp over the top?

great little render for the timeframe!!

As for the trees, its definitly an opacity thing, cause you can see the way the branches affect the shadows near the roof line. But the reflection being a full green tree is a little odd.
Its hard to say for sure without know if any comp was involved to get the trees to look like that.

Unless its like a fall off material or something that only faces the camera so the back of the tree still gets rendered green in the reflections, and they still cast a proper solid shadow.

Looks pretty good - although I think the colors need to be brighter.

2 passes hey, well obviously the first pass was just a normal render to get the reflections and shadows. And the 2nd pass had some sort of opactiy map to get that look. Maybe a Toon render like mentioned before but using the toon as the opacity or a falloff for the opacity?

                            Am i even close?

on the right track there daforce.

Toon was used - but the trees were not visable to camera so just the edges were rendered as lines. Easy.
