      nice! looks super-clean!

i guess the black rectangle on the wall is a plasma... going to have anything on it?

probably will s0real, we're putting some live footage of the surrounding area together so might be nice to have that playing

        thanks

one small thing i noticed... in the second image near the top there is a small square opening which i'm guessing is a window? - it doesn't appear to have a frame.
perhaps you don't really see it in the flythrough though and it's just an unfortunate frame to use as a still...

very nice mate. the middle image is very nearly photo-real. if you can get close to the quality of these stills in the actual animation, you're going to have a real winner. great work!

                Very nice indeed.

I really would like to know your frame times if you want to keep the wires from the ceiling lamps from flickering...Same with the frame on the tv-screen...

everything looks great ! In particular all of the leather, glass and metal

The only constructive points I can make are debable if they would improve the images.

Firstly, Maybe put some interior lights on? The natural lighting as you have it at the moment looks great but I think a few of the lights on may help (just my opinion). For example the shot with the lights over the dining table...some highlights on the wood may be nice.

I think the background may be a touch washed out/ desaturated. It looks a little polluted to me and dark compared with the interior lighting. This really depends where the project is in the world though I guess.

Other than the frameless window, the other thing Im not sure about is the bit of bulkhead dividing the dining from living areas looks like a single plane (hope that makes sense)

Really great work though. I'm struggling to get anywhere near to the quality in those images

I would play with the lighting a bit. In my opinion, the overall effect is a bit dull. Modelling and rendering is fine, its just the lighting that looks a bit 'uninspired'. When a photographer is sent around to a show flat, lights are normally turned on to make everything look...sparkley.
                    Kind Regards,

Really good, and i think your lighting is great with only one thing - i'd increase the intensity of the outside. The lighting is dark, which really works for me if the outside is more over-exposed - then it will look more realistic as if the camera has adjusted it's exposure because of the light outside. As it's spain i think it will be fine - at the moment the outside just looks dull, and doesn't reflect the georgeous lighting inside.

Also i agree about putting some lights on so you have specular highlights on the tables...

This is not entirely true, as highlights MAY NOT appear. As I am looking at his wood - material, i think the problem lays there, not in the lighting.

And to be more clear... notice there are no lights ON inside... but the table is grabbing the Skylight, which is due to its material mainly.

                        Best regards,

Sure, the wood surface must have some kind of reflectancy to get these kind of highlights.

That is a really nice render - can you let us know how it is illuminated? Did you say just an environment override, and if so, what is the multiplier and colour mapping type?

I am really aiming to try and achive these quality highlights in my work, but find it quite hard. I can achieve good diffuse lighting really quickly, but getting these specular highlights i find harder. Most of the time, the images come out looking a bit washed out because of this lack of highlight.

Any tips - i.e. vray lights with high multipliers, or maybe all the materials are fully reflective with fresnel falloff?

(or maybe just a newer build with vray sky?)

The photo-realness of it all looks good, but I agree the lighting looks a bit bleak. It could help if you got some warmth in the lighting, especially if this is a Spanish villa. Now if its in the UK, the lighting is probably spot on...

thanks everyone for your comments and I'll take all of your points on board and try to improve the scene before running the animation.

I'm also doing an animation for the outside of the villa and I've posted some links to where I'm upto if any of you would like to comment.

                              Thanks very much

both have been heavily compressed so I can post on here so the quality has been lost unfortunately
