Hi everyone, this is my latest work. Pardon me of those roof tiling.
i haven't got the grasp on displacement.
    C&C are welcome.

    thanks!

    looking good...

    Crits:
#1 Definately change the sky - now the right part looks like it is Cropped or something...

#2 You have tried to produce shiny look, but all your shadows are soft.
    Need better lighting setup.

Rest would fit better after re-rendering with sharper Sun...

    Best regards,

      thanks niki,
      you mean like this?
i change the direction of the sun, and put higher light power to it,
with vray environmental skylight a bit blue

MUCH BETTER...See how the presence of Skylight is more obvious now...

now add some warm (yellowish) Sun...
why do i have the feeling your Sun is almost straight above the scene...

find a better angle, so that bright/shadows give more depth to the scene...

Play that around for a quicker test with a material override (some Gray - one)

        Best regards,

It could be a very cool scene with some changes. I like the setup a lot. The flowers in the front need to vary more - since it is prominent, i would try to use some 3D flowers. The paint on the house needs some discoloration. With th lighting changes it will look great.

If you put some displacement on the stones around the pool, and on the grass, it could really make the rendering pop.

I normally use a map that looks like scratches for grass displacement. Or something generated using the Fibers filter in Photoshop CS2. Or use the Burnish material in Essential textures.
