Nicely composited. What might be improved:
-match the sun position to the foreground photo
-increase contrast between light/shadow to match photo
-black polygons on top of the middle tower- you have double faces or not enough samples

cool render. done for somewhere in grenada right? the plants are definately local to this region

Yes, this one was done for grenada, I never saw the site, and was given the plans and the background photo. (btw, some years ago i saw some renderings for the la lorge project in grenada which was done in barbados, was that you?)

ive only been in business down here for the last 2 years. and the only thing ive done in grenada was a simple power substation for grenlec (the power company)

Was that for the calender? I saw a rendering for their new power station on a calender some time ago.

i have no idea what it was used for. i remember then needeing to show to the environmental group or something.

Just to stray off topic for a while, One of my long term goals was to return to Grenada and start a rendering company, my concern will there be enough work, How is it in Barbados? Are you the only guys in town? I know of a company in Trinidad.

there is a trinidadian company but more or less there are quite a few people doing this down here. however as far as i know im the only one actually using GI for rendering and slowly but surely my client base is getting larger as more people are hearing about me. it was tough at 1st but i did alot of phone work to get where i am now and now quite a few are becoming word of mouth. there really isnt much more advice i can give for starting up a company some people take to it like ducks to water

i honestly wouldnt mind teaming up with someone who knows what he is doing in max with vray but obviously thats a rare comodity. basically...just me. hehe basically someone who knows that drooling is an appropriate responce to the mention of a boxx system.

I have contacts there, i worked and still is to some extent associated with the biggest construction company there, Creative Designs and Building Construction. who have an office in Barbados. I meet some of the top Architects in Barbados, Shelby Rose and Map, Tony Morrison, ect.. I also did lots of work on the St. Georges University. I only started using GI this year and i loved it. I think the grenada market is ready for it.

Mybe we can team up, I dont used Max to model, Since i am an Architect, i modeled in Architectural Desktop, Since i will be generating my Construction Doc. from the model. I only use max or viz to model if i have to, but that should not stop us from linking up. You got my email so email me and we can continue this discussion. I also have a few contacts in Trinidad.
