  • Leisure Centre

This is a still we're producing from a leisure centre movie. We have to produce an exterior, pool, gym, reception and bar.

I posted a thread on how to produce bubbles in the spa a while ago in anticipation of this. It's been on a backburner since then but things are back on track. I'll post the solution to the bubbles problem in the correct thread when I've finished the movie.

If anyone has any recommendations for improvements to the pool they would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Saul

throw a noise map into the bump slot for the pool

noise size about 10 or so and bumpmap intensity of about 5 should do nicely

nice saulman, i agree on the slight bump.
Also you might want a touch more contrast in the image. look a little flat

Thanks for the comments, chaps. Much appreciated.

I already tried bump/noise with a few settings on the water but each time it just made it look less realistic to me. I'll give those suggested settings a go and see what happens.

The contrast/brightness will be sorted out in a video/photo editor later.

          Cheers.

Try throwing some light pool caustics on it! and yes a noise bump at a low setting will yield a nice looking water.
            Thanks
