  • Virtual Museum Immages for a karpets

    Well,

What we´ve been doing the last days, are immages for a virtual museum.

All done in beloved Vray, biggest part of those immages are from Jonnybefree, who´s sitting behind me , six of them are from my partner mathias Arndt, one from my other partner michael ullrich, and only one from me. time for one immage was about half day to one day. all of them could be improved, but thats enough right now..

ah yes and of course, all of those rooms do exist also in real world. Our client just took photos from existing museums and stuck them together for a virtual walkthrough.

chose your faforit, blame it or fight it

Either 10, 16 or your one down the end - these ar really fabulous renders - is there any chance yourself or johnny could post a simple scene without textures or give a summary of your lighting setups? These are really stunning renders - simple scenes but really peaceful, pleasant spaces...

12 and 16. 20 is nice but the glossies kill it slightly

all good but i like 1,9,10,11

really nice natural light colour in these but i picked those because of the excellent variation in colour resulting from really well done lighting. Are these using ppt?

All of the lighting is great actually, especially the ones with a bit of yellow/orange coming in IMHO

              looks like a fun project!

                  Hi thanks for your comments.

Well its realy a fun project. only some immages to build those things up. no exact plans, which makes it much faster to build them up.

well i think ill post a scene for you later.

i have to rebuild it first a bit , cause we use a later version but 1.4703.

                  untill then.

i love them, 9 has a little tiling ni the floor, and 20 is my favorite in how the lines move the eye through the space

bloody hell! how many images? looks like a nice clean model which helps with these type of 'minimalistic' architectural images

                            Heya tom,

Just wondering also whether you are using the rob / gijs linear workflow or alternatively a specific type of color mapping?

                              Hi,

                              we used different ways...

                              i used logarithmic exposure,

                              jonas used gamma,

and michael ullrich used linear if i am not wrong.
