  • First Time Post. Need Comments please...

Hi. This is the first time I've been brave enough to post an image here. It's not quite up to the quality of most posts, but I could really use some comments to help get me to the next level. A couple of the models are Evermotion.

    After Photoshop:

Before Photoshop (Opened as an HDR):

    Thanks for your time.

Good work. I like the one before PS better.

Very clean render and overall good scene. Excellent for a first-post - hope to see some more!

As for crits, they are minor. It seems like if that plant was that green, big, and outdoors it would be fuller. Also, your image seems stretched/elongated slightly when observing the chairs, teapot, and oven. Your settings look good overall - the only thing I question is the noise threshold - it could be bumped up to .002-.003 as .001 probably killed some unecessary render times.

Good call! The pixel aspect ratio was set to .9. Thanks.

Is the Photoshop'd one too saturated? I just found the image a little gray and dead before PS, but maybe I'm wrong. It would be awesome if someone could take my before PS image and do their PS adjustments and post it here. Any takers?

It probably looks different from one display to the next but the PS version looks much warmer and more inviting to me. My only crit is that the sharp edges and highlights stand out. In PS go to select color range > highlights. Copy to a new layer and give it a slight gaussian blur (like 1 pixel). You can adjust the opacity of that layer so that the effect isn't too strong. Very nice job with your materials.

very nice mate....I like the oven model.

comments as everyone else with the excpetion that the countertop on the island looks too thin. it looks like it would snap if someone sitting there put all their weight into leaning on it.
