These are some test images of an animation work in project.
I really can't control the floor: it should be a dark wood, but too much depending on the light and the point of view it is dark or too bright.
Does somebody know a tip to correct this?
P.S. I don't use exponential, i prefer linear, more real

And, sure, any C&C are welcome!
(many things to correct, I know)

umm. well a: is this featuring the room or the furniture? and b: the DOF kinda kills the images, and your contrast is a little too dark. the camera angles are too low. and the room seems to be a little ...sparce. i dont know about the actual darkness of the floor and what your in need of to fix it. but a dark floor usually darkens the GI in the room. i do have a tutorial on how to counteract that if you want. http://www.elfpro3d.com goto tutorial section, it should be the last tutorial there

Hello Da Elf: A) you can see the right floor color in the 1st image. B) The low camera angle is due to storyboard needs (I don't agree completely...). C) I've a very bright monitor, so I have to adjust the levels

Nice for animation. the last image is too dark. The grain on the walls indicates that there isnt quiete enough light in your scene for this area anyway

Personally Id consider 'faking' it a bit regarding lighting for the sake of getting nice bright marketing images but not everyone is willing to compromise with realism
