    it really is disgusting!! good job

    rendertimes..... whenever I am down about my own I do a search and come across ones like 9 hours and then I don't feel so bad. If only I didn't have to animate as well

                        Hey Guys

                        thx for the nice feedback so far,

                        Well, i posted the image at Zbrush Central ( http://www.pixolator.com ), too and it became quite an intresting thread there. The guys over there are currently trying to create a SSS-fake-like material within Zbrush. I posted a test-szene of the material and rendersettings inside this thread. I used Zbrush to add detail to the tentacles, and now the Zbrush-Guys are trying to match a quite similar Zbrush-Material.
                        Nice to see them making progress. They won`t be able to match the fotorealistic v-ray look in Zbrush, but it`s an excellent research in doing SSS and by what kind of factors the SSS Look is made of .
