  • First interior

First real interior test, please c/c as much as possible. I know there are faults as where the light leaks in the window frame (possible revit issue). I am more concerned with my lighting and especially the direct sun, it seems that it needs to have smoother edges?

2 vray lights in windows, 1 vray sphere inside, and direct outside

    Hey there,

to get smoother shadows use vray shadows and turn on area shadows...and use the size to control the amount.

Not bad at all for a first timer! The only thing that looks odd to me is the floortexture wich looks a bit too low-res to me and the glass of the table...the table looks to thin to be a table actually

thanks, I have vray shadows on, and you mean the size control of the u,v, w parameters in the same options menu I presume? I will try that

      thanks again

When I put area shadows on, the direct light goes away, and even changing the u,v,w size does not affect the smoothness of the light. I have tried doubling and tripling the sizes.
