strange flash in image - any ideas please

Hi everyone,

I'm getting strange flashes in certain frames of an animation - one has it and the next doesn't - any ideas because I'm stumped!!

I had this once too - I think I corrected it by merging the scene contents back into an empty scene and re-saving.

Is there a < camera correction > mod on ?

From way back when, not sure anymore if it is fixed but as a force of habit I make sure "apply crop" is checked on all mats, use ReRenders script http://www.varcht.com/tools.htm, also make sure anything that requires mapping coords has them

i have found this when using rpc and with raytrace or metal shader materials in my scene too.
