Just got around to texturing this one yesterday, working on the interior today

I personally would have liked to use a more washed out stain color for the "barn" siding, and a much lighter stain color for the structure...but it's the clients choice

    C&C welcome

              great texturing and lighting!

I would almost make the glass non transparent to block out the interior, unless you are planning on adding more detail to the interior?

Faye Jones had a heavy impact on a lot of designers from my area(Northwest Arkansas)

I was actually worried about the way that the wood texture would turn out because I had to extensively overhaul it in Photoshop. In fact, it is about 80% by hand.

I think I might make the glass opaque. Thanks for the tip!

                Here is an interior...

...and an updated exterior(I don't think I like the red window frames)...

the updated exterior is great. I actually like the red window frame.
The interior looks a little burnt where the main windows are, what colour mapping are you using?

It is set to "linear multiply," default. I have 2 presets for the scene, with the interior I just cranked up the multipliers and made the IR+LC a little more refined with Adaptive QMC for the antialiasing...I know, I'm lazy

i would use exponential color mapping for the interior, it will reduce the burn and it will lighten up some of the dark areas
