  • Updated: Wood, cork, Glue & Vray

This is a Performing Arts Center in Minneapolis ( An addition for Bethune School)...The clients didn't want to show the materials only the massing and the concept.

    Modelled in Sketchup
C&C are welcome. (The client also wanted to put a background...It wasn't a good idea in my opinion)

    Thanks,

    Fernando

Yeah thats kinda dumb putting them on another forum that most of us are not going to have a login for.
Dont expect many replies unless you host them somewhere better.

          WOW, thats pretty damn nice!!

Can you shed some light (pun intended) on the lighting setup and what color mapping you used.

          Thanks

I really like the render style. Very clean, clear and bright. Good work.

wow, that is crisp! i love it!
somehow it does not look like the regular vRay render, did you use catmull AA? - care to share some lighting info?

...and yes i agree with you on the background issue, would be better to have gone for the cardboard model style - well, anyway, congrats!

Thanks guys for the commentaries...actually, I used pretty standard settings the color mapping is linear(1,1) the sun is a direct light (.7) color 243,243,213 ...the skylight(.7) Color: default, IRmap:Medium ...as you see no tricks

about the weird texture on the road....I didn't see it in my low res test, it came up with the high res.

                            about the AA was Catmull-Rom
